Chúc mừng tạp chí ngôn ngữ tròn 45 tuổi / Nguyễn Xuân Hòa.
// Ngôn ngữ. 2014, Số 10 (305). 2014tr. 9-10. Bài viết là lời tham luận của PGS.TS Nguyễn Xuân Hòa tại lễ kỉ niệm 45 năm thành lập Tạp chí Ngôn ngữ. Bài viết đã nêu ra thế hệ các Tổng biên tập và phó tổng biên tập cùng những công lao to lớn của họ góp phần tạo lên diện mạo một tạp chí có uy lực, bài tham luận còn chứng tỏ sức mạnh hội tụ của tạp chí, những thành quả mà Tạp chí đã đạt được từ đó ông ngợi ca và chúc mừng tạp chí Ngôn ngữ cùng với Viện Ngôn ngữ học Việt Nam.

Thus, when people speaking different mother tongues communicate with one another, they must make all possible efforts to create a shared knowledge channel between the speakers and the listeners. When comparing two languages, we can see that differences between them are manifested not only in terms of structural patterns but also, more specifically, in various aspects of the specific categorization of reality of each nation. Therefore, while comparing idioms and proverbs, it is necessary to pay attention to the compilation of meanings (semantic combinations) of their parts into overall meaning to be used in real communication. In other words, when comparing idioms or proverbs of two languages, it is necessary to explore connotative meanings related to national culture of each nation.
