Sino-Vietnamese idioms are set phrase with all Sino-Chinese elements. following the word-buiding rule of Chinese. Sino-Vietnamese idioms can be classified into 2 types: a. original Sino-Vietnamese idioms are directly borrowed and remain their original Chinese idioms; and b. Vietnamized Sino-Vietnamese idioms, (consist of partly Vietnamese Sino-Vietnamese idioms and completelys Vietnamized Sino-Vietnamese idioms). The presence of various types of Sino-Vietnamese idioms in Vietnamese tells us about strong assimilation of Vietnamese towards Sino elements as well as the activeness and creativeness of Vietnamese people in receiving and Vietnamizing foreign languages, which are Sino elements in his context.

In this study, the radon concentration of some bottled drinking water samples in Vietnam was investigated by using RAD7 machine. The total annual effective dose which people can receive by drinking the bottled drinking water was calculated as well. The results showed that calculated parameters were lower than these of the EPA, UNSCEAR and WHO recommended limits.
