Using peer feedback in EFL writing class / Vũ Thị Huyền.
// Kỷ yếu hội nghị khoa học giáo viên 4/2021 Hà Nội : Đại học Hà Nội, 2021tr. 3-10 Since the shift towards process writing, there has been a bulk of studies undertaken on the effects of peer feedback in the writing classrooms; however, the results from these arouse the controversy among researchers. Some view peer feedback as an effective tool to develop students' writing and communicative skills while others view it with skepticism. The aim of this literature-based research is to summarize the advantages and the disadvantages which peer feedback can bring to the writing class, and to explain how feedback can be utilized for the highest efficiency in the classroom. The research provides a literature review about a general definition about peer review, followed by the pros and cons associated with this type of feedback. Students' perceptions towards the implementation of peer review are also presented before incorporating implications for teachers if they want to employ this type of feedback in the writing calssroom.
