// Chinese teaching in the world. shijie hanyu jioxue . 2016, No.3. 哈尔滨师范大学国际教育学院 上海师范大学对外汉语学院342-355 p Speculative and commentary adverbs co-occur in propositions.Their distribution mode and the specific usage fall into four categories:pre-sentence independent use vs.inner-sentence use attached to the adverbial,being attached to the whole sentence vs.being attached to the predicate,continuous co-occurrence vs.discontinuous co-occurrence,and being attached to main clause predicate vs.to sub-clause predicate.The expressive and semantic functions of dual commentary can be subsumed underexpressive commentary vs.cohesive commentary,full scope vs.half scope,assured speculation vs.speculation assurance,and recognition-type confirmation vs.suspicion-type confirmation.This compatibility of expression and the effect thus achieved are motivated by euphemistic subjective expression,comprehensive objective evaluation estimation,subjective judgment with leeway,and corresponding balance between different views.

// Chinese teaching in the world. shijie hanyu jioxue . 2016, No.2. 哈尔滨师范大学文学院 170-182 p "Wo bie VP(le)"(我别 VP(了))is a non-self sufficient negative construction,which is low in transitivity and functions as a reverse response.Neither the Prototype Theory nor the Markedness Theory can fully show its particular pragmatic value;instead,the theory of semantic integration and constructional integration can effectively account for its generation mechanism.Through semantic compression,sentence making by way of blending,and reductive inference,we can obtain its emergent meaning,which is"I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to VP in such a case"or"I oughtn’t to VP in such a case".The construction of"wo bie VP(le)"balances volition with command,and blurs the distinction between active and passive.By cooperating with incidental reason clause,it reduces the will of simple subjective negation,and intensifies the reason of interactive negation.The negative construction has changed over from highlighting the willingness and attitude of the speaker to highlighting the perspective and cognition of the speaker.Partial homographs are related to the trait of the"intentional-unintentional"category in Chinese and synchronic grammaticalization.
