Using visual search paradigm and semantic judgment tasks,this research probed into the effects of sentence contexts on Chinese-English bilinguals in English phrasal verbs semantic processing.The results showed that:1)in spite of the second language proficiency level,ChineseEnglish bilinguals all showed the context effect;2)in the processing of different meanings of phrasal verbs,the activation of literal meaning had an advantage;3)the activation of figurative meanings of phrasal verbs were affected by the second language proficiency of Chinese-English bilinguals.These results support the mixed representation model and parallel activation model

Taking phrasal verbs as target structures and making use of teaching practice,implicit knowledge test and multiple regression model,this study examined the relationship between the structural differences of phonological processing abilities of college English learners and the implicit learning mechanism of SLA.The findings are as follows:with former SL knowledge and oral proficiency as major controlled variables,the abilities of phonetic encoding,phonological analysis and short sentence prosody recognition influenced the acquisition of target structures;the abilities of phonetic encoding,phonological synthesis and words’stress recognition influenced the proficiency of the acquired target structures.The phonological processing abilities effectively enhanced the acquisition and internalization of implicit knowledge of SL by means of improving input efficiency,enlarging the capacity of working memory and activating the meaning network
