the research investigated the psychological mechanism of rural migrant workers’ collective action orientation, seeking helping orientation and receiving helping orientation under intergroup inequality in China. The research found that different action orientations were affected by different factors. Rural migrant workers’ collective action orientation was affected by social opinion support and internal attribution, which were mediate by group anger. Rural migrant workers’ orientation to seek helping was affected by social opinion support, external attribution, internal attribution, and centrality. Rural migrant workers’ orientation to receive helping was affected by social opinion support and external attribution. It revealed that as a special group accompanying with Chinese rapid social change, the psychological mechanism of action orientation of rural migrant workers in China was quite different from that of the West, Rural migrant workers in China show their own action characteristics
