“Và” is a conjunction that connects two word, phrases or clauses to indicate their cohesion. However some Korean learners use “và” in a wrong way. This causes errors of sentence construction, errors in bound morphology (e.g. lack of grammatical correspondence between constituents, degree of congruence between expanding a predicate by a syntagm that begins with “và”). It also leads to a misuse between “và” and “còn”, “nhưng” or “ngoài ra” as well as to sentence ambiguity in grammar and representational meanings. Explaining the uses of “và” and distinguishing them with those of other conjunctions that have similar representational meanings and providing exercises will help the learners to correct the mentioned errors.

During the process of phrases solidified into function words, they need different factors to motivate common development simultaneously. Such as conjunction of "Ci Wai", it gradually stereotyped with the influences of maturity of preposition frame、bleaching of referential function、double syllable of pronoun incorporation then replace "Wai Ci" and other similar words. Through succession of cross-layer、conceptual superposition to analyze the grammaticalization of "Chu Ci" and "Chu Ci Wai".

In the process of granunaticalization of Chinese prepositions and conjunctions,the words has been lengthened and the number of synonymous function words has been increased,and that doesn’t accord with the general law of grammaticalization.To explain the abnormal phenomena,this paper puts forward an overlap hypothesis and argues that all these anomalies were caused by overlap.

The study of conjunction in complex sentences has fast developed in the past thirty years.The achievement of the study can be generated as follows: the scope and horizon of the study of conjunction in complex sentences are broaden from mandarin Chinese to dialect and ancient Chinese even other languages; the research methods and theories are updated from traditional description to cognitive and functional explanation; the research perspective of conjunction is shifted from pure linguistic studies to cross-discipline studies such as computer linguistics.
