Metaphor has been studies simultaneously with the development of cognitive linguistics called conceptual metaphor is a concept phnomenon and a natural process of thinking, help people better understand the concepts and is used naturally in the daily lives of human, is a bridge to help people take conventional knowledge and experience in the process of decoding the meaning of idiom. The paper studies the cogntive foundation of metaphorial meaning of idioms “happiness ” based on comparative results in English and Vietnamese.

Bài báo nghiên cứu ý niệm “luật sư” nhìn từ góc độ giảng dạy tiếng Nga như một ngoại ngữ (cấp độ nâng cao), phân tích các khía cạnh khác nhau của khái niệm này. Ngữ liệu phân tích ngôn ngữ văn hóa của bài là các bài diễn văn tố tụng của Plevako F.N. Ngoài ra, bài báo chỉ ra các đặc điểm nghề nghiệp đặc trưng của luật sư, cho phép người học nước ngoài hình dung đầy đủ hơn về hệ thống các giá trị văn hóa Nga.

Following the approach of cognitive semantics which states the conceptual structure of emotion, in this paper I aim to analyse the basis of embodiment cognitive through conceptulizing emotional categories in The Rale of Kieu. The cognitive method Nguyen Du applied to analyze emotional categories meets the cognitive method of human. The author chose human beings and body parts as reference center for emotion. However, Nguyen Du’s method still show unique characteristics through using a rich and evocative vocabulary.

This paper discusses the concept of argumentation used in upper secondary school textbooks. The paper argues that teaching argumentations mean teaching the reasonings. It is important to find reasoningsin an argumentation, especially the implict reasonings, to understand the nature of the argumentation. To find out precise reasonings is an important demand in the analysis of argumentations.
