Translating vocabularies from a second language (L2) to mother language (L1) is one of the learning methods that most of people who begin learning a foreign language apply Vietnamese who learn Chinese as the beginners also apply this method to approach the target language. However, when a beginner use this method to translate Chineses into Vietnamese, it leads to the problems of misunderstanding the vocabularies and incorrectly using them. This article bases on the “ Contranstive Analysis” ( Robert Lado, 1957) and the “ Modelling learning difficulty” (Ellis, 1999) , examines the difficulties of Vietnamese who start learning就 & 才 by translation methods.
