This article investigates the integrated rhetorical device used in the Trinh’s love song : “Like a Flying Heron” – one of the well-known love songs composed by the musician Trinh Cong Son ( TCS). Hopefully, the article could help Vietnamese natives and foreigners have a progound insight into the use and the affective effect of this rhetorical device in Vietnamese love songs.
