The language environment is the social use of the basic features of language and it has to do with the formation of children’s cognitive structure as well as children’s verbal ability . By analyzing the concept of second language environment and probing to the relationship between second language environment and Chinese acquisition of minority children, the authors of the paper aimed to provide some suggestions to improve the quality of Chinese language acquisition and bilingual education in Xinjiang.
