Abbreviations, an important part of the Chinese vocabulary, are mainly formed by shorterning the components of complex language combinatrions. Abbreviations are frequently used in political reports at the National Congresses of the Chinese Communist Party with the repetition of some words. There are some difficuties in properly understanding and using abbreviations as they are formed by different methods. By analyzing 7 political reports at the National Congressess of the Chinese Communist Party, the authors have listed 522 abbreviations hold a variety of structural characteristics.

This thesis discussed the three types of minority language learned by Han people in Xinjiang since 1949:the minority language learning in education system,training class and social practice . There were many differences in these three learning types in terms of learning requirements, learning content and learning method . In general, there were diverse types and regional characteristic differences in the language acquisition.
