// Tạp chí Khoa học Ngoại ngữ 2015, Số 43. 2015 Throughout history of teaching Spanish as a foreign language, Spanish grammar has experienced different levels of importance, ranging from the primary role of the teaching and learning process to the less important role. It was only when the Task Based Learning approach came into play that grammar was granted the same importance as the communicative skills. In this paper, we will present the evolution of the Task Based Learning approach in Spanish as a foreign language. We will explore how the approach nurtured the teaching of grammar to be at the same level of importance as the communicative skills. Finally, we will take a closer look at how this approach deals with various stages of teaching grammar in order to reach the objectives.
