Innovation in teaching is always a top concern of the education sector in general and the National University of Hanoi in particular. How to make both teaching and learning in such a short time at school really effective ? The answer is in the innovation of positive training and teaching methods which put students in the center of teaching and learning. This methods have been applied in other schools in VNU since the last 5 years, not only in teaching Chinese as a second foreign languages but also for other foreign language. In particular, the introduction of foreign language learning outcomes for the school system is a new breakthrough. That means all students before graduating have to achieve B1 level (a second foreign language for students whose major foreign language is not English language), which is equivalets to Chinese HSK level 3. In addition to teaching basic language knowledge of vocabulary, grammar,...students are provided specialzed knowledge to meet requirements for their future jobs.
