《普通高等学校本科专业目录和专业介绍(2012年)》将本科专业"对外汉语"和"中国语言文化""中国学"进行整合,更名为"汉语国际教育",专业介绍内容也相应地有了较大的改变,表现在汉语为本、多语种为用、重视应用和实践等3个方面。这些改变要求我们在课程设置上思考下列问题:将汉语国际教育专业的培养目标、要求和实践性环节落到实处,区别相近专业同名课程的教学内容,确定英语类课程在总体课程中的适宜比例,发挥学校或地域优势开设多语种课程

"汉语国际教育"是一个专业,关于这个专业的学科属性学术界存在着不同的认识,这种不同的认识影响了这个专业的人才培养目标、培养规格。本文认为"汉语国际教育"的学科定位是交叉性的,很难简单地归之于某个单一学科。从这个意义上说,可以说它是一门"独立的学科"。它的学科基础是语言学(理论语言学,应用语言学)、汉语言文字学、教育学、认知科学和现代教育技术。

This paper briefly reviews the development of Chinese immersion programs in American primary schools,and discusses the advantages,properties and characteristics of this kind of instruction.It is argued that this kind of instruction has the nature both of native and foreign language instruction,whereby the design of Chinese immersion instruc-tion should pay special attention to the particularities of the Chinese language and the particularities of teaching Chinese as a second language;the teaching methodology should be based on implicit instruction,while paying due attention to designing some explicit activities.
