前后分句中不同的连接成分“别说” = Biéshuō as Different Connectors in the Preceding and the Following Clause. / Zhou Li.
// Shijie Hanyu Jiaoxue. 2013, Vol. 27. 498-511 p. This paper analyzes biéshuō( 别说) as used to introduce the preceding or the following clause from the dimensions of syntax,semantics and pragmatics. The analysis shows that there are two non-identical biéshuō. On the basis of this observation,we use sophisticated reductionism to describe how the semantic feature of shuō( 说) as a component of the connector has affected the syntactic structure and pragmatic function of biéshuō so that we can identify the functional sources of biéshuō1 and biéshuō2. Finally,we argue that the relationship between adverbs and conjunctions is not typical of the process of grammaticalization.
