Word classes of some words are indicated differently in the syllabus of Chinese as a foreign language than in Modern Chinese Dictionary. This has given rise to a difficult decision making in indicating them for texbooks of Chinese as well as that of the study of word classes of modern Chinese, this paper dicusses the angles from which this problem should be considered when indicating the word class of a word and the principles under which this problem should be solves.
