// Ngôn ngữ và đời sống. 2014, Số 7 (225). 2014tr. 10-13. Scolding is one of saying actions of humans. Like other linguistic actions: saying, telling, promising, complimenting, greeting, swearing, asking,…scolding- scolding when action function also endures the domination from general factors of a linguistic action. However, the problem identifying and classifying this linguistic action is not really cared in research properly. Although there is likely a lot of research on scolding from different scales, the most is still from the view of culture. This paper will contribute to make clearer about; these problems from the points of pragmatics, more specifically from the action theory- linguistic action.
