On the basis of human experiences of the real world, the paper attempts to explain the building mechanisms and organization of the two conceptual categories of consciousness and unconsciousness in Trinh Cong Son’s lyrics, and by doing so, highlights the personal style and distinctiveness in the language uses of the musician.

Published for the first time in Russia in 1929, Voloshinov’s “Marxism and the Philosophy of Language” is considered as one of the most important intellectual achievements of the humankind in the 20 century. Thanks to Roman Jakobson, Voloshinov’s ideas exercised great influence on the Prague Circle, meanwhile in the USSR; it was largely forgotten for decades before being translated into Western languages in the early 1970s. The revolutionary ideas of Voloshinov (and his friends Medvedev va Bakhtin) have had great influence on Postmodernism and on social sciences and humanities in general.
