Quan hệ nguyên nhân trong câu ghép tiếng Việt./ Hoàng Thị Thanh Huyền.
// Ngôn ngữ và đời sống 2014, Số 3 (221). 2014.tr. 31-38. Compound sentences are featured with their complex structures (with two or more independent clauses) and the semantic relations between clauses, including causal one. This has been mentioned in traditional and functional grammar researches. In general, they have provided a new approach for further research. Based on theoretical foundation of compound sentences, this writing aims to investigate some forms of semantic relation in Vietnamese compound sentences in terms of: the appearance of favorite means, the subjectivity and objectivity, and the complex levels.

The grammatical expectancy of ta-form adnominal clauses / Sera Tokiko
// Joural of japanese language teaching (日本語教育) No. 177, December 2020 Japan : Seikei University, 2020p. 92-100 The purpose of this study is to clarify the grammatical expectations by native speakers on the sentence level, focusing on ta-form adnominal clauses. The participants in this study, 64 Japanese native speakers, were asked to complete sentences following ta-form adnominal clauses wich had ga-cases in both adnomical and main clauses, presented as "adnominal clause + head noun + WA/GA". The results of this investigation show: 1) the parts following the ta-form adnominal clauses show similarities regarding predicates; and 2) semsntically, the predicates that denote a change of state follow stative adnominal clauses, and the predicates that denote subsequent actions follow dynamic adnominal clauses. A similar tendency was found in stative adnominal clauses using the Balanced corpus of contemporary written Japanese (BCCWJ).
The present results suggests that learning adnominal clauses by focusing on forms and meanings can contribute to the improvement of learners' sentense comprehension and production ability.
