Interruptions are phenomena in conversations. Interruptions occur when the second speaker starts his/her turn while the first speaker has not finished his/her turn. Based on their functions, interruptions can be classified as: simple interruptions, butting-in interruptions, silent interruptions or overlaps. There are a number of factors influencing interruptions in conversations among which it cannot go without saying of status, gender.
