Cấu tạo từ trong tiếng Cor./ Tạ Văn Thông
// Ngôn ngữ và đời sống 2013, Số 6 (212) 2013tr. 1-7 Through the description of the methods for word forming in Cor Language, there should be some comments as the following: 1. Cor language is a true representative of the group containing isolating language. It is a type of “ancient” subgroup with the most notable feature: morphemes may not coincide with syllables. 2. Subordinate compounds have rather developed. Type of partial reduplication is commonly used. Paratactic compounds are very close to the whole reduplication in the meanings of complex words. 3. In the modern Cor language, affixation works quite actively. The involvement of prefixes is much more than infixes. This type of prefixes usage is very close to the analytic nature, with the way to the “mechanical” compound, when forming derivative words.
