A(n)...of...类延展数量型结构的功能语法分析 = A systemic functional study of“a(n)...of...”type of extended numerative structures. / YU Changli.

According to its discrepancy in construing experience,"a(n)...of..."type of structures falls into two subtypes:extended numerative structures and qualifier structures.This study,based on the COCA corpus,discusses the univariate logical and multivariate experiential structure potential of extended numerative construct in realizing ideational meaning,and analyzes its lexicogrammatical devices in realizing interpersonal and textural meaning.It reveals that in ideational configurations there may be no"Thing"element.Even if there is,the"Thing"is not conflated with the Head;in experiential structures,epithets and classifiers sometimes can be transferred into extended numerative structures.The structures in concern can realize interpersonal meanings through attitudinal epithets,connotations,deictic expressions,and swear-words."A(n)"can be treated as the nuclear theme in the structures.In marked case,"a(n)...of..."can be an information unit;Tonicity can be either located on Thing or Head and the Transfer phenomenon is the result of the information allocation in the periodic textural structures.

中国英语初学者的连缀句偏误与语法概念迁移 = Grammatical conceptual transfer involving“run-on sentence”errors made by Chinese beginner learners of English. / ZHANG Huiping;LIU Yongbing.

By drawing upon"the Grammatical Conceptual Transfer Framework of Chinese[JV ZI]",and searching the run-on sentences in the corpus,this study identifies the systematic features of sentence structures misused by Chinese beginner learners of English(CBLE).To explore possible reasons for the misuses of these sentence structures,it compares the essential differences between English and Chinese "sentences",and discusses the misused sentence structures at the syntactic level from a grammatical conceptual transfer perspective.This study has found that run-on sentence errors are the highest error type among all the syntactic error types made by CBLE as an interlanguage.The analyses have shown that these errors are systematic and the grammatical conceptual transfer of Chinese[JV ZI]as well as its conceptual properties is the basic reason for these run-on sentences.These findings have largely testified the hypothesis of conceptual transfer in SLA and provided significant implications for localized conceptual transfer-based study in China.
