| The study of conjunction in complex sentences has fast developed in the past thirty years.The achievement of the study can be generated as follows: the scope and horizon of the study of conjunction in complex sentences are broaden from mandarin Chinese to dialect and ancient Chinese even other languages; the research methods and theories are updated from traditional description to cognitive and functional explanation; the research perspective of conjunction is shifted from pure linguistic studies to cross-discipline studies such as computer linguistics. | |
