| Since the definition and criterion of the middle category and middle constructions are not yet clear,there exists disagreement among researchers on whether Chinese has middle constructions and what kinds of constructions belong to the category.Based on a typological investigation,this article mainly explores the following two issues:(1)What is a middle?(2)Are there middle constructions in Chinese?If so,what types?This article first systematically combs the origin and development of the middle concept and draws a general picture of the middle category in a typological map.With an analysis of the characteristics of middle constructions,the article then proposes the criterion for middle construction identification,which paves the way for distinguishing the real middle constructions from those so-called but non-real ones.It is also found that there exists a unique middle construction group formed by distinct but related Chinese middle types.The mechanism of how these middle types are interrelated is also investigated and explored. |

| 学界在汉语是否存在中动句、什么样的句式是中动句等问题上众说纷纭,其实质是对中动范畴和中动句的界定条件尚不清楚。本文在类型学的视野下试图回答下面两个问题:1)什么是中动?2)汉语有没有中动句?如果有的话,什么样的句式是中动句?文章首先细致梳理了"中动"概念的由来和发展,在类型学研究的基础上勾勒出中动范畴的大致轮廓,并提出判定中动句的基本条件,从而对目前冠之以"中动"之名的各种句式进行了甄别。我们发现,实际上汉语存在着不同的中动类型,它们构成了一个独特的中动句式群,本文由此进一步探讨了句式群中各中动类型的关联机制。 |
