Tóm tắt	Seamen apply a number of ways to bild ship-to-ship & ship-to-shore communication. Among these, radiogram plays the unique role when the ship is at sea. To save both money and time, the text of the radiogram must be short and clear. Futhermore, the text should be coherent to avoid misunderstanding. Ellipese, substitution and abbreviation have been widely used in radiograms to create the shortest possible text.
