| Since the "Transformation Analysis"put forward by American structural grammarians between 1940 sand 1950s,more related syntactic theories,such as movement,raising and merge,copy and deletion,have been proposed and developed,and relevant analytic methods applied to grammatical phenomena analysis.These analytical means have achieved great success in Chinese syntactic as well as semantic studies.With specific examples,this paper reviews their latest development and achievement,including the author’s prior investigations,aiming to call for more attention to this field,and to have a dialogue with scholars | |
