A Philosophical Interpretation of Ontology about the Inner Chapters of Chuang-tzu / Cheng Zhongying
// Journal of Huazhong Normal University（Humanities and Social Sciences) 2014, Vol 53, N.6 p62-p68 This article is a philosophical interpretation of ontology about the inner chapters of Chuang-tzu, which shows us a dialectical process about the ontologies existence. The seven articles in Chuang-tzu can be divided into two categories. On or hand, there are strong dialectical thoughts of ontology in The Happy Excursion , On the Equality of Things and The Philosopher-King. On the other hand, The Fundamental for the Cultivation of Life, Human World, The Evidence of Virtue Complete and The Great Teacher show us dialectical thoughts of human potential. After the combination ( these two aspects, the world ontology and the human ontology will be integrated, an then Chuang-tzu s special dialectic philosophy of practice ontology will come true

// 南京大学学报 : 哲学社会科学 2014, 第一卷 2014124-134. A household word across cultures,Zen( or Chan in Chinese romanization) remains an ineffable oriental mysticism. Hu Shi and Suzuki once debated over whether Zen could be rationally interpreted,but did not come to any agreement. Citing the authentication of enlightenment in Zen training,this essay argues that the procedure provides strong evidence that Zen enlightenment can be intellectually understood. With a review of the debate between Hu Shi and Suzuki,we challenge the mystified view of enlightenment. By analyzing time-honored Zen practices that have led to enlightenment in history from the combined perspective of historical,philosophical,and psychological inquiries,we hope to shed light on the mystery.
