This article presents the result of a contrastive study on pragmatic features of hyperbole in literary works in Frech and Vietnamese. The result is intended to enable teachers and learners of French language to easly comprehend the massage conveyed by the authors/ writers with the use of hyperbole. This is then hoped to facilitate their approach and acquisition of this kind of poetic language.

"A le qu le"and "A bu dao nali qu le"formated from two grammatical constructions"V le qu( le) "and "V bu dao nali qu"metaphorical projection from the space domain to the property domain. From physical space through perceived mental space to the degree space,the quantity category expression patterns of the same nature in different cognitive domains can be through. The construction by highlighting relative interval to highlight the relative position,and show that the same continuum grammatical type conversion to rhetorical structure. This conversion is also the subjective process of grammaticalization.
