According to the theories of text linguistics, inter-language, and error analysis, this article concludes the phenomena of ellipsis discourse errors made by Uygur students in Chinese learning, and analyzes the reasons for errors. Meanwhile, combined with the types of errors and the reasons for errors, it suggests that teachers should attach emphasis to discourse teaching, strengthen the contrastive study of cohesive devices between the Chinese text and the Uygur language text, alter teaching concept, and make discourse teaching run through Chinese teaching and textbook compilation as well.
