// 汉语学习 = Chinese Language Learning 2020年02期 China : 上海外国语大学国际文化交流学院, 2020p. 3-16 This paper attempts to combine linguistic typology and construction grammar, analyses, and conclude the main typological characteristics between existential and locative constructions in more than 50 languages with existential and locative constructions. In terms of Principle of Identifiability Precedence, Principle of Semantic Proximity and typological characteristics of the basic word order, it aims to seek the motivations of the word order of existential and locative constructions. Finally, based on the typological characteristics between existential and locative constructions, it aims to find out the universals between them and analyze the motivation of the universals.
